Terms of Service

CatBoard is provided by Reza Ilham, an independent developer based in Indonesia. No CatBoard account, purchase, subscription, or License Key is required.

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run CatBoard on Macs you own or control. You may use it for personal work and commercial work. The app is licensed, not sold, and its source code is not made available by this license.

You may not:

• Sell, sublicense, rent, bundle, mirror, or redistribute CatBoard or its bundled assets without prior written permission.
• Copy CatBoard, remove ownership notices, impersonate the project, or market a duplicated or substantially derived product as your own.
• Reverse engineer or bypass update-integrity controls, except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits.
• Use CatBoard in a way that violates law or the rights of another person.

We reserve the right to enforce these restrictions and to seek remedies available under applicable law.

Every CatBoard feature is currently available without payment, an account, a License Key, or a daily run allowance. Free availability does not transfer ownership, grant redistribution rights, or promise that every feature or release will remain unchanged forever.

CatBoard runs coding agent CLIs headlessly under your macOS account and is not an agent sandbox. Agents can read files available to that account, use network access, create branches and worktrees, write or delete files, run shell commands, and commit changes.

You are responsible for tasks you approve, agents you enable, repositories you select, and changes you merge. Keep backups and review changes before they reach an important branch.

We claim no ownership of your repositories, prompts, or agent output. CatBoard does not receive a license to your work merely because you use the app.

Agent subscriptions, API charges, rate limits, availability, terms, privacy practices, and outputs are between you and each agent provider. CatBoard also relies on third parties for downloads, updates, optional analytics, feedback, and website hosting.

CatBoard is evolving software. It may contain defects and may change or remove behavior between releases. Signed automatic updates may modify the installed app. Do not rely on CatBoard as the only copy of important code or data.

CatBoard is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that agent output is correct or safe to merge.

These exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, lost profit, or lost or corrupted code, repositories, or data arising from CatBoard or third-party agents.

Mandatory consumer protections in your country remain unaffected.

You may stop using CatBoard at any time by uninstalling it. Your license ends if you materially breach these terms. Sections intended to survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law, continue to apply.

We may update these terms as CatBoard changes. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be published before or when they take effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.
